水原是有著登記於世界文化遺產的華城而聲名遠播的都市,因2002年舉辦世界盃足球賽的契機,為了不輸給其他世界優秀觀光都市而不斷努力中。屬於公共設施之一的公共洗手間是最能了解一個地區的門面,不僅能看出一個國家的經濟水準,更能直接反映文化與教育水準。為了成功舉辦2002年世界盃,並提供市民們優質的洗手間文化,直至1996年底不斷聽取各階層意見,展開推廣建造擁有優美音樂、掛著圖畫及花香飄蕩的個性主題「佈置美麗洗手間」事業。針對公共洗手間與一般公司等788處洗手間的整頓計畫於1997年3月設定並正要開始執行之際,卻得到了與其他都市、國家太過類似而不夠獨特的評論。為了創造出世界最棒的洗手間文化,分別於1997年7月與1999年2月時,召集了教授、美術家、建築設計師、企業代表等各個領域的專家,舉行韓國首例「佈置美麗洗手間」專題研討會,針對洗手間文化做出明確的執行方向與系統性的推廣。這段期間,水原市將「有文化的洗手間」概念導入公共洗手間,建造了16間內含水原文化傳統建築樣式並與自然環境融合的洗手間。為了過去曾經一度忽視的身心障礙人士、老弱婦孺們,內部不僅設置了適合他們的空間與尖端衛生設施,還有香氣、畫作、花、書架,甚至還有音響設備能夠欣賞音樂,成為讓使用者感嘆讚賞的文化空間。水原市預定之後還會再新建20多座美麗的洗手間。自去年11月起舉辦將華城與洗手間結合的「美麗洗手間免費之旅」,有許多國內外民眾參與。為了讓市民自發性的參與並引起關心,每月舉辦以餐飲店等一般店家洗手間為參加對象的“優質洗手間比賽”,至今已有76處獲得此項殊榮。在店內貼上充滿水原文化象徵的優質洗手間徽章,散發驕傲與自信感。希望像生活於1級水源、僅以川蜷為食的螢火蟲般乾淨美麗,因而套上螢火蟲之名。洗手間內會播放古典樂、蟲聲鳥鳴等,另外透過「使用中」的標誌就能知道裡面是否有人正在使用,無障礙洗手間內則設置有連接到管理室的緊急通話設備。螢火蟲洗手間最為特別的優點是可以清楚看到外面的玻璃窗,透過玻璃窗可以欣賞美麗的光教貯水池,當然從外面是看不見內部的。


首爾(松坡區)

受人喜愛的南原美味,從以前起就是市民們享用的補身料理泥鰍湯內充滿了南原的美味與鄉土人情。在砂鍋內咕嘟咕嘟沸騰的泥鰍湯,放上切得細小的青陽辣椒與花椒粉,吃上一口的熱呼呼的甜辣美味,堪稱絕品。


江原道(華川郡)

位於和平水庫北邊上游地區烏鵲橋間的良義垈周邊濕地,為4種1級瀕臨絕種動物(水獺、山羊、麝、鷹)與5種2級珍貴稀有保育動物(石虎、貂、燕隼、扁吻鮈、短鬚鰍鮀)等極具保護價值的野生動物的棲息地,故為極重要的保護區。由於南北韓約50多年來的斷絕來往,此地的瀕臨絕種生物與自然環境得以妥善保存至今,但為更完善地保存此地的生態系與水獺棲息地,仍需要持續不懈地努力。


江原道(束草市) , 江陵

寒松亭花園菜餚由擁有1級廚師資格認證的老闆採用精選食材烹製而成。曾獲得2007年SIFE首爾國際廚藝大賽金獎﹑江原觀光服務競賽大會銅獎等諸多獎項,特別是曾申請小白菜冷麵專利權。


江原道(原州市) , 平昌

龜龍寺距雉岳山最高峰毗羅峰約6公里,是新羅文武王時義湘大師所創建,流傳著義湘與九條龍的傳說。傳說中,大雄殿的位置原本是座水池,那裡住著九條龍。義湘喜歡那水池的位置,想把水池填平建造寺院,於是與龍比試法術。龍先飛上天空,此時雷聲大作,下起大雨,所有山都沒入水中。龍覺得很滿意,但看看四周,卻只看到義湘在毗羅峰與天地峰繫了一艘船,並且在裡頭睡了起來。接下來換義湘施法,他畫了一張符放入水池中,水池的水就開始沸騰了起來。九條龍則因為太燙紛紛飛出水池,受到驚嚇的其中八條龍交出寺前的八座山峰後逃往東海,其中一條龍因為眼睛看不見而改至附近的溪谷棲身。因此這座寺又叫做九龍寺。然而隨著時光的流逝,寺院逐漸開始沒落。有一天,有個老人出現了,他說是因為寺前的烏龜岩讓寺的氣變弱了,提議將烏龜岩的穴位截斷。依照老人的指示做了之後,寺裡的狀況更加慘澹,甚至考慮廢寺。這次換另一個僧侶出來說話,說是由於烏龜岩的血脈被截斷而導致寺的衰退,提議再次暢通烏龜岩的穴位,於是寺把名字改成龜龍寺。龜龍寺溪谷裡的龜龍瀑布、龜岩、虎岩、龍淵等風景都相當美麗。龜龍寺有大雄殿、普光樓、三聖閣、尋劍堂、說禪堂等,其中大雄殿曾多次翻建,但仍維持原樣。該殿爲木製建築,是朝鮮近代的基本建築形式-多包式,正面有三間,兩邊則各有兩間,爲“八作”式建築,被指定爲地方文化遺産第24號。整個建築未使用一根釘子。大雄殿內部有三尊木佛,從中可看出朝鮮時期佛像的特點。中間爲釋伽牟尼,兩側有菩薩像,與建築結構配合和諧。寺內還有普光樓等許多佛教遺跡。

慶尙南道(密陽市)

位在慶尚南道密陽市內,從古代開始就被稱為"枾禮氷谷"的冰谷,範圍大概是天皇山北側山腰高度約600~750m的溪谷地帶,佔地約29,752m²(9千多坪)。被指定為天然紀念物第224號的冰谷從氣溫漸漸開始回暖的3月初春開始結冰,過了夏天三伏進入秋天後冰才溶解,石縫間的冷氣漸漸減弱。相反的,冬天反而會吹出暖風,此現象持續整個冬天,溪谷的水不會結冰。因此這裡被選為密陽的4大神秘景觀之一,初夏到晚秋遊客眾多。韓國夏天冰不溶化的冰谷除了密陽的天皇山冰谷之外,還有慶尚北道的義城郡氷穴「氷溪溪谷」、全羅北道鎭安郡陽化村‘風穴-「冷泉」、鬱陵島羅里盆地的‘冷氣窟’等。

慶尙北道(鬱陵郡)

獨島位於韓國最東端的鬱陵島東南角87.4公里的海域,總面積為180,902平方公尺,由岩石島組成的一個火山島。準確位置是在東經131度52分,北緯37度14分。新羅時代智證王13年(512年),異斯夫(真興王時期的將軍、政治家)把鬱陵島和獨島組成的于山國收歸為新羅所有,在歷史上有"六月于山國歸屬新羅"的記載。根據朝鮮時期(1392-1910年)《成宗實錄》記載,金自周曾對獨島(當時稱三峰島)的形狀進行過描寫。朝鮮時期,獨島也稱爲三峰島、可支島、于山島等,1881年改稱爲獨島。1906年鬱陵郡守沈興澤最先正式使用獨島的名字,1914年行政區域改編時又劃入慶尚北道。壬辰倭亂(1592年日本入侵朝鮮的戰略)後日本漁民更頻繁地出入鬱陵島和獨島的近海,於是安龍福就東渡日本,向日本政府確認鬱陵島和獨島是韓國的領土,並禁止日本漁民在兩島附近捕魚。對此史書上亦有相關的記載。獨島由東島、西島及其附近的36個小島組成,東島(海拔98公尺)有火山噴出口;西海(168公尺)無噴出口,是由火山岩構成的。東島和西島間有兄弟洞,東島還有天頂洞和海蝕溶洞,其海蝕階地和海蝕崖地形十分發達。1905年日俄戰爭過後,日本認知到獨島的重要價值,於當年2月22日單方面地將獨島改稱爲竹島,並規劃入日本島根縣。此後又一直主張對獨島的領土所有權,直至今日獨島問題仍然是韓日間重要的外交問題。現在獨島上駐有韓國的警備隊,他們在岩石上修築房屋,並建造簡易的碼頭。獨島上多處發現水質良好的礦泉,飲水問題也隨之順利解决。
